The counselling sessions helped me discover my own identity. Although there were some hard weeks which were quite upsetting at times, it helped to make me understand who I was, to take care of myself and empower me so that I would have more tools to use in my relationship. I would definitely use this service again.

Excellent. My counsellor was good to work with and went at a pace that was appropriate for my stage and growth. I now have a greater ability to go forward and counsel myself. I would and will recommend my counsellor to anybody who feels counselling could be worthwhile.

The sessions have helped me to make sense of my experiences. I learned about the stages of bereavement. My counsellor was empathetic yet realistic; some of her comments and evaluations were so useful that I wrote them down afterwards.

I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to CP Counselling again and would recommend it to anyone who finds it hard to deal with difficult experiences alone.

I had heard that bad relationships could be turned round and made better than they had ever been however after a disastrous attempt at counselling previously I found it hard to imagine that we could find the right counsellor. I found C P Counselling and found your service was very friendly and we wouldn’t have to wait months for an appointment. We met our counsellor and found her knowledge and confidence assuring. Although the process is hard and long I would advise anyone to see it through as the result is well worth it. You have to trust that the counsellor knows what they are doing because you can’t ‘see it coming’. We trusted our counsellor and our relationship is stronger than it ever has been.
