TELEPHONE COUNSELLING

Telephone counselling is available for those who prefer this way of experiencing their counselling or therapy. It can also be a practical and convenient solution to transport or childcare difficulties as well as providing an opportunity for couple counselling to take place when one partner may be in a different location.

Each telephone session starts and finishes on time and lasts for an hour. If you wish to book further sessions or have on-going counselling following your first session, you can arrange this with your counsellor at the end of the session.

 CHARGES AND PAYMENT

Telephone counselling charges per session are; £45 for a daytime session, £50 for an evening session from 5pm onwards and £55 for weekend sessions.

Reasons people have chosen telephone counselling over face-to-face counselling:

  • Convenience – your counselling from the comfort of your own familiar surroundings at a time that suits your needs
  • Travelling – no travelling time or travelling costs
  • Availability – the service is accessible to those with mobility difficulties or living in isolated communities
  • Couples can have joint counselling from different locations with three-way telephone calls
